Research

I'm a first-year computer science Ph.D. student at Tufts, advised by Prof. Remco Chang. My research interests include human-AI interaction, visualization, interpretability, and computational tools for creative and design practices. I received my B.S. and M.S. from Tufts University, where I studied computer science and studio arts/architecture. There I got worked in information visualization, and computational and parametric design practices, which I also briefly explored at Harvard Graduate School of Design and Columbia GSAPP. Most recently, I interned at Apple Research.

I'm interested in how interactive systems can augment the ways people think, create, and make decisions alongside increasingly capable AI. Rather than treating AI as a tool for automating work, I'm interested in designing interfaces that keep people actively engaged in the creative and reasoning process by helping them surface, examine, and reshape the ideas, assumptions, and choices that emerge along the way. More broadly, I'm passionate about building systems that pair advances in AI capabilities with deeper support for human creativity, curiosity, and flourishing.
